Integrity management

Integrity management is a systematic approach to identify, assess, prioritize, and control the potential risks associated with pipelines. This includes activities such as regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs, as well as emergency response planning. The goal of integrity management is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of pipelines, minimize the potential for leaks and spills, and protect the public and the environment. The process involves considering factors such as the pipeline's design, construction, material, operating conditions, and the potential impacts of corrosion, erosion, and other integrity threats. An effective integrity management program requires collaboration between operators, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure that pipelines are maintained at an appropriate level of integrity, and that timely action is taken to address any identified risks.
