2022 was outstanding for EMPIT
"In fiscal year 2022, we have succeeded in creating a new standard for the inspection and surveying of buried pipelines with CMI" argues Mark Glinka, Managing Director of EMPIT GmbH. EMPIT as a company by and for people has changed significantly. We have proven that even as a fast growing company we can achieve and maintain organizational and quality standards and have obtained the following certificates:
ISO 26000, ISO 37301, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
With this success, we can look forward to a more sustainable and strategically organized company that will change the piping market for surveying and inspection in the long term. In particular, our #EMPITfamily is responsible for this and in this sense we would like to thank once again all employees for this outstanding performance.
On the customer side, we are pleased about a constantly growing demand, which we can hardly serve at the moment.
As a result, we are already well booked for the 2023 financial year and are working hard to expand our capacities. In particular, the high number of follow-up projects, but also the number of pilot projects, has more than tripled in the last year. This shows that with Current Magnetometry Inspection we are filling a gap in the market where there is a high need for action and problem solving. EMPIT has also had great success on the sales side. As a profitable company, the steady cash flow, which can be planned in the long term, is crucial. This year, we were able to conclude several large framework agreements, which have orders of dimensions that we did not even dream of 2 years ago.
The EMPIT family has gained many new faces this year.
It is great to see how broadly we are now positioned and how everyone is working together to ensure that the company continues to grow. However, it is also important to ensure that the quality of data evaluation and data acquisition is not reduced. Last year, for example, we focused our development efforts very strongly on training artificial intelligence in order to reduce training times for new employees and minimize the potential for errors. This has enabled us not only to increase on-site productivity, but also to increase the speed at which data is analyzed more than tenfold.
In conclusion, we have inspected and measured more than 1,000 km of pipelines this year alone. In this way, we were able to prevent pipeline ruptures, digitize pipelines, and also make them ready for the transport of hydrogen during this exciting time. If you want to know more about the inspection of pipelines with AC currents, which works non-invasively from the ground surface, please send us a contact request or call our office in Berlin or Hamburg directly to be connected with one of our experts.
It’s for a reason that we are amongst Germany’s Top 100 innovators. Because our mission is to overcome these inspection challenges and, together with our clients, continuously improve the safety and reliability of all pipelines.
